Bravo!

Monday, June 10, 2024

I made this card for a  recent high school graduate.

Not your typical grad card is it? The graduate was home schooled and she LOVES horses...hence this card.

I love the color wheel in the Stampin' Up! 2024-2025 Annual Catalog on page 132. I knew I wanted to use Copper Clay but was unsure what colors to pair with it.  I went to the color wheel and there beside Copper Clay was Peach Pie and Cajun Craze. From there everything came together. The card base is Copper Clay. I used the Distressed Tile 3D EF on a piece of Cajun Craze. My sentiments are from a long retired SU! set called Bravo.  I stamped them in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, Copper Clay and Crajun Craze onto a piece of Peach Pie cardstock that is matted on a piece of Black cardstock.  The horse is from SU! Let it Ride (retired), colored with Copper Clay Blends and popped up on dimensionals.

We recently planted our garden. Paisley helped plant the pumpkin seeds. She calls it her "Pumpkin Patch".

Check out her boots! ❤

Monthly Wanderings

 Sunday, June 9, 2024

Well, the month of May was another full month! The Farmer and I got sick! We have never both been sick at the same time in our 35-1/2 years of marriage. And boy were we sick. We had cared for one of the sick granddaughters the week prior and thought we were in the safe zone and then boom it nailed us. We coughed. And coughed. And coughed. Thankfully we were able to get through it without any complications or trips to see a doctor.

We had a campout to Milo McIver State Park. I had never heard of this park. It's beautiful!

The timing was probably perfect for us to go as we were still healing from the sickness. It was great to be out in the woods each day and able to relax and rest.

The littles are growing! Paisley turned two!

I guess the sign could be my crafty project for this blog. I used the Cricut to cut the letters and images.

Our sons with their daughters. ❤

And if you read Paisley's shirt that's the biggest news yet! She's going to be a big sister! A little brother is joining her and he is expected on December 28! 🎄 Maybe a Christmas baby!

Well, my friends, that is a quick wrap up on the month of May!  June is here and we are off and running!

Happy Stamping!
