Hello!

 Monday, June 5, 2023

Saturday was our monthly crafting day. A bunch of us ladies get together and just craft the day away! I made these cute boxes to share with everyone:

Super fun to make using the Cornerstone dies. I got the inspiration from Julie Gilson at Stampin' Gala. You can see her project here.

I made my using Lemon Lolly and the colors in the Glorious Gingham DSP: Pretty Peacock, Berry Burst, Pecan Pie, Blueberry Bushel, and Lemon Lime Twist. The daisies are from the Cheerful Daisies stamp set and the sentiment is from Go To Greetings.

Happy Stamping!

Just for You

 Friday, June 2, 2023

It's Fri-yay! A busy day here! I've got some cleaning/catching up to do and some prep work for tomorrow's crafting day. We're expecting 13 ladies for some crafting fun!

Today's card was an happy oops! I was prepping for one sketch and realized I had cut into a perfectly good, already cut and scored black card base. So, I switched gears and made it into a little fun fold card for a gentleman at our church.

And I'm entering it over at Make My Monday #201 Challenge where the theme is masculine.

I used some more of the Farmer's Market DSP (retired, it's probably historic! I don't know how old it is or do they call it retro...) I used one of the dies from the new Radiating Dies from SU! for the sentiment. Those dies are really cool. The sentiment is from SU! Charming Sentiments. Here's the inside:

And yesterday was grand watching both the grandbabes!

I was reading to them and I had this deja vu moment. This ran through my mind:

That's me thirty years ago as one happy mommy to our sons Steven and Taylor. And now, look! They each have a daughter! Such blesssings!

Happy Stamping!

Spring Chick

Thursday, June 1, 2023

How did it get to be June 1 already?! We get to grandparent today! Both girls at the same time. A first! It will take both of us to handle a 3 month old and a one year old! So, for today's card...

Maybe this is a subtle reminder for me! (NOT!) I am entering it in the Retro Rubber Challenge where anything goes!

My dancing chick is from SU!'s Hey Birthday Chick bundle. It's been retired for a year already! I paired it with some the retire Farmer's Market DSP  that I thought went very well with my chicken. The stitched rectangle is from the retired Stitched So Sweetly dies.

I hope you all have a fabulous Thursday.

Happy Stamping!
