Pallet Flag

Friday, July 24, 2020

Today's post is crafty but not in the paper crafting sense! I recently painted a pallet to resemble a flag. It was so fun and easy to do! We have a lot of pallets around the farm. I snagged one and this is what it became:

I used my Cricut and cut the stars out of vinyl. It brightens the front of our house up so well!

It is harvest season on the farm. I recently drove the combine:

While the Farmer was doing this:

HA! Too funny! He was checking the seed to make sure the combine was set properly. My whole driving time lasted maybe 10 minutes! Those big machines make me nervous and I was probably only going a little over 2 mph! LOL!

I hope your summer is going well! Thanks for stopping by!

Bridal Shower

Wednesday, July 22, 2020

Our oldest son, Steven, is getting married August 15. 2020. His beautiful bride has had a couple bridal showers. For one of the bridal showers  I made these favors:

So cute, I know! I used the All Dressed Up dies and made that adorable handbag! I used long retired DSP from Krista's stash. Krista is my dear friend who passed away four years ago. She would be thrilled! The paper was perfect. McKenzie's brother is going to be her "Man of Honor" so I created a little backpack for him.

I used the Misty Moonlight DSP that looks like denim. Unfortunately, I did not make this correctly. It really isn't a backpack because the handles are the wrong place! It wasn't until I was looking at the photo that I realized I didn't quite do that right! LOL! I don't think anyone even noticed!

It was a beautiful shower. Here I am with the bride-to-be!

Enjoy your day!
Blessings,
Tracy

Studio 1.15 Part 3

Today I am sharing the pictures of my completed studio. It has now been 5-1/2 years since its completion. It is rarely this clean! I usually always have a project, or two, out. Sometimes, especially when I am scrapbooking, the floor will be covered! That is the beauty of having a studio! You can work on a project,  leave it out, shut the door and come back to it later!

This is the closet. I removed the closet doors and added the wood shelves. The white paper boxes I got at Ikea. The paper, ink and ribbon storage are all from Stamp-n-Storage.

The work area is great. I keep my Big Shot here and my Cricut. The drawer holds additional paper...my DSP, glimmer and foil paper. There is a shelf above that drawer and my Simply Score Scoring Tool,  paper trimmer and envelope punch board are housed there. The punches and stamp pads storage is from Stamp-n-Storage. I love having my ink pads in front of me when I am working.

The Farmer calls this the "Command Center"! LOL! This is my happy place! I hope you have enjoyed the process of how Studio 1.15 came to be. Thanks for stopping by.

Blessings,
Tracy
