The Paper Players challenge this week is looking for signs of winter. I wanted to make a card with a giant sunshine on it, green grass, birds singing and my hubs mowing the lawn! We have had beautiful weather lately. Yes, it is freezing in the morning and the air is chilly but the sun is shining and the hubs really did mow the lawn including my mom's too! Here's what I did instead:
I used my snowflake EF on Balmy Blue cardstock and ran Craft White ink acrossed it. I stamped the birds from Winerly Tree Tops and colored them with Blends. The sentiment is from the same set and I cut it with the tag from Snowflake Kisses. I cut a few evergreen sprigs from Pretty Peacock.
What does winter look like in your neighborhood? The Redwing Blackbirds were singing here yesterday morning! It was delightful!
Happy Stamping!

Our backyard is currently mostly covered in a few inches of snow, so no lawn mowing happening here! Love the snowy background for your pretty birds. Thanks for playing along with us at The Paper Players!
ReplyDeleteThis is a perfect image for our challenge....especially with the snowy background! Love it!
ReplyDeleteThe embossing folder effect is superb - great for a winter scene and, as always, those birds look superb. Thanks for sharing with us at The Paper Players.
ReplyDeleteWhat a delightful card! You've used one of my favorite (and oldest in my collection!) embossing folders!
ReplyDeleteThose birds look lovely against the snowy background. Thanks for sharing with us over at The Paper Players this week!
