Friend

Today's card ended up being harder than I anticipated even though there isn't much to complicate. LOL!

I used the Calming Camellia stamp set. It is a Disinktive stamp that came and went in 2022.  I'm not sure it was stamping correctly??  Maybe the ink pad was too juicy?? Maybe it was operator error?? 😅 Anyways, I used Pretty in Pink for my card base and enjoyed using the Scallop Contours dies. I colored the leaves using watercolor pencils and a blender pen...I think that is what hung me up. 😉

I played along with two challenges for this card. SUO Challenges #394 has this pretty inspiration photo. It's where the pink, white and flowers came in for my card.

The Retro Rubber Challenge #265 has a tic tac toe board.

I went with the diagonal of gems, your choice (watercolor pencils) and die cut.

The last two days have been absolutely beautiful here! We did a bike ride yesterday with our friends and today we had these two little ones!

We visited their great grandma today (my mom). I realized the quilt they are on was made by my great grandma...their great great great grandma! That is so neat! I have loved this quilt since I was a wee one. So special! ❤

Happy Stamping!
Tracy

  3. So pretty, Tracy - I barely remember this set, but I think I do remember there was some kind of trouble with it, doesn't seem like you had any though - it came out perfectly! Thanks so much for playing at Retro Rubber!

  4. You've done a wonderful job capturing the inspiration photo, your card is so pretty! But I'm afraid it pails in comparison to those sweet little ones!
