Thank goodness for a new month and a new week. April ended with me and the hubs pretty sick. The hubs is a few days behind me in getting well but I think/hope he is over the worse! Let's just say we had a super cold.
I was able to get back in the studio yesterday afternoon and I completed a lot of unfinished projects! Do you know how wonderful that feels?! Just fabulous!
I went very simple for today's card and sometimes it just feels good to keep it simple especially when life packs a punch. I used my old and beloved Sweet and Simple Salutations and cut out the image using a Spotlight on Nature die. I used a piece of DSP from the Floral Impressions, some white seam binding and put it all on a Strawberry Slush card base. I added a few of the white butterflies from the new '26-28 In Color Butterflies.
I'm playing along with The Paper Players challenge this week where they are looking for "Feminine".
I came across this sweet photo of our neighborhood geese family.
I think this is the first time I've seen goslings...I've seen lots of ducklings over the years but never the goslings. I guess the geese are making themselves at home.

I love the die you cut this sweet image with! Darling card, Tracy Hope you and the hubs are back to 100% soon. We see goslings quite often, they're so cute!
ReplyDeleteUh oh, so sorry you & the hubs were feeling bad! Happy that you were feeling better enough to get in some stamping! Love that older image! We have a couple of geese at our neighbor's pond, but we've never seen goslings either! So cute! And thanks for playing with the Players this week too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet Mother's Day card, Tracy! The little butterflies and bow are the perfect embellishments. I am glad you are feeling better. Sometimes stamping is the best medicine. Thank you for playing with The Paper Players this week!
ReplyDeleteTracy, I'm so glad you are feeling better and I hope your husband does as well. I had the "super cold" the end of December and it lingered for 3 weeks, so I feel for you! The little vase is simply darling and looks wonderful surrounded by butterflies. A very sweet card. Thanks for taking time to join us this week at the Paper Players!
