Happy Mother's Day

Thank goodness for a new month and a new week.  April ended with me and the hubs pretty sick. The hubs is a few days behind me in getting well but I think/hope he is over the worse! Let's just say we had a super cold.

I was able to get back in the studio yesterday afternoon and I completed a lot of unfinished projects! Do you know how wonderful that feels?! Just fabulous!

I went very simple for today's card and sometimes it just feels good to keep it simple especially when life packs a punch. I used my old and beloved Sweet and Simple Salutations and cut out the image using a Spotlight on Nature die. I used a piece of DSP from the Floral Impressions, some white seam binding and put it all on a Strawberry Slush card base. I added a few of the white butterflies from the new '26-28 In Color Butterflies.

I'm playing along with The Paper Players challenge this week where they are looking for "Feminine".

I came across this sweet photo of our neighborhood geese family.

I think this is the first time I've seen goslings...I've seen lots of ducklings over the years but never the goslings. I guess the geese are making themselves at home.

Happy Stamping!

  2. Uh oh, so sorry you & the hubs were feeling bad! Happy that you were feeling better enough to get in some stamping! Love that older image! We have a couple of geese at our neighbor's pond, but we've never seen goslings either! So cute! And thanks for playing with the Players this week too!

  4. Tracy, I'm so glad you are feeling better and I hope your husband does as well. I had the "super cold" the end of December and it lingered for 3 weeks, so I feel for you! The little vase is simply darling and looks wonderful surrounded by butterflies. A very sweet card. Thanks for taking time to join us this week at the Paper Players!
