Fall Leaves with Seasons of Fun

 Thursday, November 4, 2021

We have lots of leaves falling here! The (retired!) Farmer has been busy picking them up between rain showers. Today's card reflects those leaves and memories of when we had little boys frolicking in a pile of leaves!

I am also entering it in the Global Design Project 316

Card Details:

  • A2 card base in Old Olive
  • 4" x 4-3/4" So Saffron; emboss with the Tasteful Textile EF. This is my new favorite embossing folder! I love it! Fray the edges of the cardstock and roll the corners up a bit.
  • Wrap a piece of demin ribbon around the So Saffron piece along with some Linen Thread. Adhere So Saffron piece to the card base.
  • Stamp the focal image from the Seasons of Fun stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Color using Stampin' Blends. I used Light and Dark Misty Moonlight, Dark So Saffron, Dark Daffodil Delight, Light Cherry Cobbler, Light Old Olive, Light Pumpkin Pie, Light Petal Pink and Light and Dark Smoky Slate. Use whatever colors make you happy!
  • Cut image using the largest circle in the Layering Circles. Cut a scallop circle in Misty Moonlight. Adhere image to this scallop circle. Add dimensionals and adhere to card.
  • Add 3  Matte Decorative Dots to complete the card.
I hope you enjoyed today's project.
Happy Stamping!
Tracy
